They are tired of getting shot at or having to deal with it.

Your kids are older and you probably never got a VM about a lock down at their school.

Our son had to practice this crap. Sort of like the nukes inbound.

Granted we weren't going to survive but now they practice this crap.

I got to the point when I was at work if I got a call during the day from the school that I hoped it was early release for the weather.

This year there was finally a school shooting at my son's HS. Lucky the kid was a lousy shot.
