You are giving the standard answer to the difference between short volume and short interest, which I agree with. But what I'm explaining to you is that particular answer in no way disproves the fact that the shorting of stocks by the entities I've told you about can and does occur, frequently. Deflecting the argument with simplistic and blanket statements doesn't prove or disprove anything.
