Beautifully expressed sentiment, really! And we are in agreement although I have to keep reminding myself that I'm in this investment for the money and not marriage or even friendship.

I did send off my Texas securities office complaint today in the morning mail. It felt good knowing I've done what I could so far. But I'll be looking at the Federal securities office as well. I made three extra copies of my complaint to make things easier.

Getting back to DK--- we're all in this for the money. My ALDW position was launched back in November of 2014, a month following its IPO as I recall. My cost basis was truly low. Thus, today, when I noted that DK was climbing ever higher by more than a dollar today alone, I placed an order to sell 250 shares out of the 3,509 that I held. I got $37.09 which hands me a gain of about $10.50 per share of DK. I took my pony for a half-hour jog-walk, came back, saw the price was holding and unloaded another 250 DK. Then I thought more on it and wound up selling into the feeding frenzy. In the end, I unloaded an even thousand shares of DK today at an average price of $37.10.

Often we'll find a stock that rises the morning of the ex-dividend day, nonsensical as it usually strikes me. But it could happen tomorrow because the divvy is just 20 cents---hardly enough to justify a lot of people crashing the gates to devour a $37 stock offering. So I'm going to be watching for a rush to buy DK so I can sell more and rake in great gains. The original plan was to do exactly as I'm now doing---inasmuch as my wish was to be holding ALDW, not DK. Alas, it was not meant to be.

Tomorrow, then, might just be a smart time to unload some shares---not all, mind you, but some.

I live and swear by a rule: I don't ever sell out an entire position unless there's absolutely clear visibility. DK is an odd one as it has been doing too well for me to abandon hopes of making more gains. My rule restricts me to selling up to but not more than half the position. So now I'm down to 2,509 DK shares and if I can get my price in early morning I'll let go of 200 more but I draw the line there as I see this going higher---into the $40's as you point out. I've got some very expensive dental work coming up so selling more DK would take care of that, I think.

Good luck to you! I hope your ALDW experience has enriched you financially as well as having you (and me) on the receiving end of a lesson in business-related brutality.
