I agree. As a young buck, I participated in the recovery of two small aircraft on different occasions that broke apart while going over the Continental Divide between Montana and Idaho, where they were fine with the altitude on level flight but broke up when they flew into the middle of a cell. That was the final determination both times, mechanical failure due to meteorological conditions in excess of the design of the aircraft.
