At a mouse dose of 100mg, it would mean 8.1mg in a human.

EXAMPLE:

Say a STUDY conducted on MICE reports that a dosage of 5mg/kg was used; what is the HED?

“By calculation, the HUMAN EQUIVALENT DOSE (HED) = 5 x [3 / 37] = 0.405 mg/kg “

I believe one would need to replace the “5” with “100” to get the proper conversion for our purposes.

I did ask Dado to check this previously because doctors are much more familiar with the process. Not looking to mislead anyone, just asking others to correct me if I’m wrong or misinformed. Perhaps we can all learn something from the exercise?

100* (3/37) = ? mg/kg

Dose for 20 kg patient would be ?mg
