Doesn't it depend on the TYPE of hedge fund?

It's my understanding that there are lot of hedgies out there working solely on AI and MOMO. There are no rules...


To my understanding, hedge funds do not have “house” accounts. They must observe their charter rules and regulations with their money the same as their investors otherwise they would have the ability to trade against their investors. Furthermore, if in fact there is such a thing as House money, it would not be allowed to be segregated from other investors funds. I therefore believe you are totally incorrect.
