I just saw some inaccurate science. (LOL, like there is any shortage of it when MEA's Pseudo-Science is involved!)

The discussion was in regard to water being "nonvolatile". That's simply inaccurate. Water is highly volatile.

Water is not as volatile as gasoline, but that does not make it nonvolatile.

The other point to be made is that volatility and solvency are unrelated properties. Gasoline, while more volatile, is not nearly as effective a solvent as water.

Water is the most "solvent" substance known - Elementary Chemistry.
