Happy Sunday Morning all. 26.5 hours until the Monday morning market open and the star of the next ANDI chapter. My thoughts on the "scam" discussion:

1) There is a difference between a "scam" and a "business failure". The great (great) majority of Penny Plays that fly, crash and burn were in fact designed and orchestrated to do just that, as a means to move money from the pockets of the unsuspecting innocents to the pockets of the scammers (may they all rot collectively in a very special room in hell)

2) The remainder (great minority) of Penny Plays can generally be characterized as "challenged" companies- businesses with a fundamental black-eye of sorts (be it a new product seeking a consumer, ugly operating history, lack of success in the past, etc.), but they are out there genuinely trying to execute a real business plan to achieve success for themselves and their shareholders.

3) It is extremely difficult to tell the difference between the two initially, but over time, new and more information becomes available which either (i) gets one's radar going that something may be amiss, requiring a deeper look; or (ii) confirms the validity of the company's intentions, plans and ability to see them through succesfully.

4) Having seen virtually every scam Penny play over the last 35 years (and having played plenty of them), at this point, there is absolutely no reason to believe that ANDI does not belong in category 2 above, keeping in mind of course, that this does not in any way guaranty success. Of course, at this still early stage, one can never rule out the possibility that it's a #1, thus one must keep their antenna up at all times for any warning signs.

5) The number of Conservative and "Slightly Aggressive" investors out there greatly outweigh the very aggressive/speculative investors that play the Pennies and have been ANDI's buyers to date. That means that there are many many (many) investors out there waiting for more "proof" that ANDI is for real before dipping there toes. As more information comes out, it will hopefully be of the kind that reinforces that we are for real/not a scam, and following the new "dip their toes crowd", with even more positive information and validation, the full steam ahead jump in head first crowd soon follows. This is how "crazy" 1000% - 10,000% runs happen in Penny Land- verification and validation leads to the masses joining in, and it's a thing of beauty to watch when you are in early as one of the early believers. On the other hand, it's quite FUGLY when it turns out your faith was misplaced, and you watch a play crash & burn.

6. It is possible to make money on a scam play, but it requires one to know when to jump ship, which is difficult due to our inherent greed and desire for maximum profits. But that's a topic for a different day, and hopefully not something that we have to worry about here in Utopya. Peace and a good day to all.
