Guys, hold onto your hats. With a little digging on the last Quarterly Report, it appears the NavSea page http://www.navysbir.com/docs/Mikros_ADEPT.pdf might have been issued near end of 2017. The NavSea article is meant to be a badge of honor for NavSea but the page is dedicated strictly to ADEPT (MKRS).
The 2017 SBIR investment of $2,011,271 for improvements to ADEPT were nice, BUT PHASE III states "GREATER THAN $100M." And in the body of the NavSea article there are ADEPT excerpts as follows:
"...The Fleet has been looking for the best way to field a remote “one-stop shop” for combat systems maintenance that incorporates sailor training, diagnostics, alignment, and calibration functions."
"...ADEPT meets all requirements and standards for AEGIS test equipment, and in the future could be scaled to other classes of ships. The ADEPT Distance Support Sensor Suite (ADSSS) is being investigated for use in future Condition Based Maintenance programs."
Understanding English, the desire is to extend ADEPT to the entire US NAVY.
