You know, two subjects. I don't disagree. We routed trades electronically, but I still had to monitor them. Before there was Knight, we routed trades to Trimark up in Westchester County. I was young, but not stupid. Trimark was shorting my orderflow. This was before Knight bought them out. I taught them a lesson one day. Yes, that was the computer routing the order, I started to phone in the order flow and Trimark was very mad, so was my boss. But my audit with the NASD (back at that time) was perfect.

As far as mechanic coming from a family of pilots, my dad, retired flying jets from the NAVY for 32 years, well, classified. He was required to be his own mechanic. Nobody was allowed to work on his jet. Nothing like using a stethoscope with a wand to find noise.
