What is IDCC's licensing department doing lately? 8.5 months since the last new license is a long time between new agreements especially with Merritts goal of receiving royalties on all 3g handsets within 3 years. How is that going to happen when they aren't signing new agreement's. Does he think companies are just going to send money without agreements? What ever happened to those statements during the cc's where they were in more economic discussions than at any point in the company's history. I believe that was said a couple of years ago. Where are the final agreements to those economic discussions. When can we expect another surprise like LG? Inquiring minds want to know. KoP has been too quiet on the licensing front this year and hopefully it changes soon.
