A couple of days ago I added 100 DKL, now holding 700. I don't find the low volume comfortable, kind of like being in a room without a door.
However, I'm positive that the asset dropdowns will increase participation and that means volume will improve, too.
And the yield isn't bad at all.
I'm thinking there'll be greater synergies between DK and DKL once ALJ is fully swallowed. It's got to be that way because of the nature of the dropdowns plus conspicuous connections between supply-lines and market-connections DK must maintain to effective manage all the new ALJ assets.
Were it not for this, I wouldn't be a unitholder in DKL.
As for DK? It's going to continue moving---not only because of the obvious but also because it's got the wind behind its back and that tells me it's got to move higher or lower. We should never dismiss momentum. I see no reason to bank on lower so that tells me we're going to prosper in Q1 thanks to our participation in DK.
