And just in case anyone thinks these social sites scrub personal information out of the goodness of their hearts for the general public, they don't. The sites do it to protect themselves and liability issues against their sites. Has nothing to do with protecting users. Twit, FB and most all other social sites have this language in their disclosures, but one has to drill down through an eternity of small print.
The sites claim plenty of times they are not liable for any content or actions resulting in content.
