Maybe we could use OT or some other header

for personal chat type of posts. I've had the same problem. I'd like to check the messages quickly without going through what sounds like an AOL instant messaging chats that don't really have any use to me. This makes a lot of people on the board are open up and read messages in which they have no interest.

We could ask people to start such messages with a header (OT, Chat, or whatever), but I doubt this will work for the long-term. Actually, IHUB should provide some checkbox when submitting messages, that then would show some little icon on the message list. I don't know if anyone here has an in with the people who run IHUB, but this might be a nice feature that would set it apart.
