Nice summary. From the beginning it has seemed odd at best that COR has decided to pursue this line of litigation in pursuit of a remedy for the dividend fiasco. And now next month the 8th circuit court will review the case, although the court can only review the decision of the lower court for errors of law. So it seems unlikely the circuit court would intervene, unless there's something of import we don't know from the sealed and restricted documents. Ordinarily I wouldn't choose to put the cart before the horse just yet, but given COR's insistence on not letting go, I have to consider the possibility that COR will push for the next step - an appeal to the US Supreme Court. Given that the highest court takes less than 2 percent of cases appealed to them, maybe at that point this saga will come to an end. No one could have predicted in the fall of 2015 after COR's three super lawyers quit the case that litigation would continue well into 2018 at a minimum.
