How fine you are to post as you do. It means so very much to me in several ways.

The mission of boards which I moderate are for the purpose of not only informing but also to encourage others to build wings, so to speak. It's easy to find someone recommending a particular stock offering but quite another thing to learn how to equip one's self so as to better greet life's uncertainties in times yet to unfold.

I had a hay delivery this morning. The fellow is turning 59 in six months. I encouraged him to look at NGL a little more than a week ago. This is a farmer & businessman so he knows a lot about how things work.

He looked into NGL but didn't move on it, having not been trading over the past year or two. This morning he confessed that he'd have gained $2,000 had he listened to me.

I told him he DID listen! But he failed to ACT on it. He agrees.

I gave him a proposition: Buy 500 units of NGL today at whatever the market price is. I'll personally guarantee 20% of any losses he may incur between now and Summer of 2018. He was blown away but I explained that he's already had back surgery and here he personally loaded and stacked 40 bales of hay at about 45-50 pounds per. Things happen and we've got to be ready for the uncertainties lying ahead.

I asked how others in his grass farming industry do when growing older and he immediately told me not so good---lots of difficult injuries resulting from the physical abuses of the work.

Just then my wife speaks up asking Mike if I'd divulged that I'd been blind for five years. I don't think about it but in this instance I think it would have been helpful and useful for he knows I do well at what I love doing. My loving wife is a social worker and sees a lot.

He assured me he'd be buying NGL. I hope he follows through.

He admitted that an investor needs to be constantly researching to stay on top of things. I told him that if he trusts me, then maybe he could trust that I'll alert him to any abrupt changes coming down the pike for NGL investors. It's not a big deal for me just like it's not that hard sharing on the boards here at IHUB.

My wife and I both told the farmer that this is the time to prepare for the possibility of his finding himself no longer capable of handling the stresses of a hay farmer. And what you're saying now fits the same scenario, what with a new business going and the importance of having a cushion to fall back on during more challenging times.

What we do here can be incredibly valuable. As a former blind man I can attest to that. Others reading our posts and memos may share a kinship in their own ways.

The only accusation of my bragging occurred at Seeking Alpha where I was accused of being some sort of shill, working for NGL. Of course it's ridiculous and I'll never know what prompted such a caustic response. But anybody could see my 500 unit purchase of this morning wasn't the best price to be had within an hour or two and I felt a little foolish for having disclosed the info. But I quickly realized that while it dropped a little, it could rise too. And it's time for a down day or two but that hardly translates into a dangerous pick.

And now I see we're up close to thirty cents! I'm far more concerned with helping people steer than getting credit for being a whiz kid. But we do need a way to ascribe added value or losses so currency works.

Something I don't like bringing up but it has to be addressed:

We've sold part or all of previously held ALDW. Some, like myself, chose to retain about half. This has paid off well. But in letting go of the other half of ALDW, I needed to come up with suitable picks to build a new part of my portfolio left vacant by partial liquidation of ALDW.

My choices were EPD, ETP, DK and DKL.

The potential problem is that each of these is proving to be surprisingly profitable. That, of itself, is a problem we all could wish for ourselves. lol But underneath is something we all must confront:

How can it be that each of the new choices is proving to provide a windfall profit?

I can't supply an answer. This has happened to me several times in the past fifteen years or so. Close confidants maintain it's the magic touch. I think it's a lot of unbridled confidence stemming from carefully monitored study, research, and tuning into our own instinctive responses to various stimuli. Whatever the explanation, we are definitely on a roll.

We will talk about taking profits as we move ahead. For now, though, I believe we could count our blessings and rejoice in this fantastic opportunity to live in a terrific moment enriching all of us in a variety of ways.

Cheers!
