Without a proper two-armed study, real-drug and placebo, how could the upcoming Rett trial yield any scientifically valid results?
Why the irrelevant hypothetical? It would be silly and wasteful for Anavex to try to do another uncontrolled study. They will have a placebo group for the Rett trial. Efficacy will be judged vs. the placebo group...end of story, no need for flights of fantasy.
Seems like you are all geared up to "defend" the absence of a placebo group...guess you didn't know.
