You can never go wrong taking profits. A line I composed years ago:

"I never met a profit I didn't like!"

This was in response to nailing a $3 gain on a pick that I could see wasn't going to work as I'd hoped.

Some would say you should liquidate more slowly but I don't like the slow bleed process myself as it forces me to watch an old relationship I'd just as soon forget...sort of like an ex-mother-in-law leaving her stuff in my place for years. Who needs it? Obviously she wouldn't in such a situation.

Pete807 could be right on this. But when I add things up I just wanted to unwind $88,000 of margin, get about $20K jingling in my cash account to boot and move strongly into EPD and especially DK. I feel better for the aggressive moves, like I'm in control and not subject to whimsies of a confused market.
