What surprises me the most about Republicans saying that he should withdraw from the race is that they are not saying "if" he is guilty. They are just saying he should withdraw his name.

Usually they like to give their own the benefit of the doubt.

I wonder what Mitch and others would have said if he was actually a Senator now. IMO they would probaly not tell him to step down.
