Tandem Diabetes Care Inc (TNDM)

I do NOT understand the TNDM chart at all. Through every R/S I have ever witnessed, the stock's PPS jumped way UP. It is just the opposite for TNDM. According to the PR's I have read, the R/S took effect on 10/10/17 at the beginning of trading. The charts show TNDM @ $6.71 at the start and then end at $5.39 for the day. It has been dropping ever since. However, for the week before the R/S, the stock was trading in or near the $8's. Can someone that has been following this stock or knows the previous activities explain this to me? Thanks.
