Even as much of a recluse as I am, I think life has more ease somehow with friends and occasional socializing, especially the kind that you experienced last evening. That would be early winter here, and a little too chilly for me. 60° would be more to my liking. But it's certainly a sign that you have more distinct seasons there, which is good.

Your mechanics let you get under your car with them? I presume the car is on a lift or they're in a pit -- otherwise it could get pretty cozy. Hmmmm .. On second thought, maybe the mechanics don't use a lift or pit when you come around. <gg>
