Twitter Trolls Trump For Referring to Virgin Islands Governor as President

Judd Legum, editor and founder of Think Progress, tweeted, “Trump claims he ‘met with the president of the Virgin Islands.’ Who is going to tell him?”

Another Twitter user by the name of Tony Posnanski tweeted, “Rumor has it that the President of the US Virgin Islands is a narcissistic, egotistical, uneducated bully who can’t spell words correctly.”

There were some hilarious memes that were also shared in wake of Trump’s comments

Interestingly, this is not the first time that Trump has been trolled for a mistake.

He was trolled after a Sept. 29 interview, where he struggled to point the exact location of Puerto Rico, saying the U.S. territory is "in the middle of an ocean."

"This is an island sitting in the middle of an ocean — and it's a big ocean, a really, really big ocean. It's out in the ocean. You can't just drive your trucks there. This is tough stuff," Trump told reporters.
