Actually it was more likely timeshares than condos. Gawd how I hate those salespeople. Plus the idea of owning a timeshare always struck me as ridiculous.

OTOH I have rented both timeshares and condos for brief getaways. Some are gorgeous and can be had for peanuts. Much cheaper and roomier than staying in a nearby hotel. Usually I felt sorry for the idiot who owned the unit I was renting. I'd have it for a beautiful weekend in May and he'd own it for the other 362 days, including hurricane season!

The real fun begins when owners want to unload their timeshares....the penny stocks of real estate!
