There is one OTC reefer scam stock called Agritech (AGTK). It actually does generate revenue from the sale of some kind of reefer product. I've been watching it more closely than the others.

I may spend some time Sunday researching it. It issues convertible debt.

It was one of those reefer stocks in the fall of 2016 that got hot, moving from sub penny to about 5 cents, which is pretty good since the advance took place in about 20 trading sessions. The peak occurred around the time of the election when four of five reefer referendums passed. More than one peaked about this time.

It got down to a penny this summer then conducted a "shareholder awareness" campaign which was good for about a penny and fraction rally. At the same time it issued about 300,000 in convertible debt.

At the end of the day I check it and see a Form T trade just about every day. Pretty good sized ones.

This stock always trades in the low millions, from 1.5 to 3 million every day. Interestingly, there isn't much message board participation.

The Nasdaq's third tier, the AMEX can be just as bad, and last but not least, the OTC, it seems, are financial venues that reward failure.
