Thank you for those links
How much worse will this get if this new tax cut goes through.
BUDGET PROJECTIONS FOR FY 2017
OUTLAYS $4.0 Trillion
REVENUES $3.3 Trillion
DEFICIT $693 Billion
DEBT HELD BY THE PUBLIC (End of Fiscal Year) $14.7 Trillion
------------------------
Imagine what the deficit will be in 10 years if the current deficit of $693 billion is turned into $1 Trillion a year so the rich can get another tax cut.
I will be paying another $1000 a year if they kill the real estate tax deduction on my $4000 bill every year.

It's the continuance of "Reaganomics" and trickle down economics. Starve the beast and create a two Santa's approach to entitlements, which is what they were trying [still doing] with healthcare, and now tax cuts.
I could never really understand why GW Bush wanted to run up the deficit so proliferously. It's a grand designed attack on entitlements and the middle class going way back. Please read this article By Thom Hartmann, it puts a little history into the thinking and the actions.

The Republican Party has been running a long con on the American people, and Trump’s new tax cut proposals are just the latest iteration on it. This con involves getting Democrats to shoot Santa Claus (Clinton cutting welfare/Obama proposing the chained CPI cut to Social Security) and using tax policy to put a jolly old Saint Nick outfit on the Republicans. As Bruce Bartlett – one of the architects and major salespeople for Reagan’s tax cuts in the ‘80s – wrote in USA Today this week:
