IPR ( Intellectual Property Rights) If the defendants get denied which has already happened in other states it puts SFOR in a position of strength. The defendants are arguing that SFOR does not own the rights and have not supported their argument to the judge. IN MY OPINION. That being said fighting this battle and waiting for a judge to rule on it creates a 2 prong problem.
1) if the defendants lose it will go for treble damages. 2) The fact we have funding from an outside source who uses actuarial science should give a wake up call that Ropes and Gray and Blank Rome are not taking this lightly.
The defendants will not want to wait for the ruling IN MY OPINION!
