Depends on how much of the company AVXL barters.
Yes AVXL would get BIIB stock under many scenarios.

The only way a "swap" would not involve AVXL having
BIIB stock on the Balance sheet would be in a takeover.
Then the BIIB would be distributed to AVXL shareholders
and AVXL would cease to trade.....again unless....wholly
owned subsidiary suits BIIB for possible partial divestiture
or many other organizational reasons.
