I can't see Vstock refusing to do their job for the ticker change just because they're named in a lawsuit claiming they failed to DO their job when they issued the 54m shares. They had a responsibility to do due diligence before issuing those shares and verify that the paperwork was up to snuff and legit before issuing the shares.
I highly doubt that they would want to run afoul of the law by not doing their job just because they may have messed up previously. If anything, they'll probably go the extra mile to make sure everything goes smoothly this time to keep their reputation.
