Might as well cheer for a drop to cover that gap now rather than later after positive news. Keep in mind I never stated that a buyout is imminent, only that after (the complete) results of Reduce-It are fully made public. If Vascepa is perceived as an anti-inflammatory that reduces mortality by 15% or more, every BP interested in CVD drugs should consider being a suitor. Even if mortality is only 5% there should still be interest. The best opportunity to buy AMRN may be on any selloffs "if" AMRN were to announce a halt for efficacy. It would be a few months before the actual/complete numbers would be released, only then could BP really figure out what this is worth to them. If there is simply a "continuence" announced, the time to buy would be in the midst of a flash-crash, for either the market or AMRN. I have no doubt that even if results are not robust, at least enough primary and secondary endpoints will be good enough ti still interest BP.
