Revisiting the webworm issue. I think the nest is a little beyond my reach as far as cutting the branch to get it all. Thinking of just spraying it with the Raid stream. Gross little guys... definitely not tent caterpillars.

So much to do around here. There is a large "planter" next to the lower stairs leading to the house. It has some kind of ground cover that is spilling over the edge. Grossly in need of a trim. I usually do it in the spring but this year the rain and garage got the better of me.

Also have to do my shovelling project today or tomorrow. Kind of praying for rain this afternoon to force me to rest. Three days of mowing have taken their toll on a few joints. Dang! this aging process is annoying.

My perpendicular cutting strategy may or may not have been a bust. Still too early to tell. The morning dew is making all the cut grass mounds on the neighbor's lawn look green. Looked like open bales of hay yesterday. He was morose... a lot of raking ahead of him today or tomorrow.

I refuse to rake. Hoping that last night's mow job cleaned it up enough to let it go for a few days. What a stinking mess.

Hope things are going well for you in PA. Any more lake time on the agenda?
