Imagine you're walking down the street one day and you witness someone else a few steps ahead of you get mugged. Do you:

1: Pretend not to see anything, turn around and walk the other direction,

2: Report the crime to the authorities and try to warn everyone else, or

3: Hide in the bushes hoping the robber drops some of the loot so you can grab a bit of it for yourself. Maybe even encourage others to continue on the path so they too can get mugged, thus increasing your portion of the take?
