The BEST safety device is a BACK-UP CAMERA

for the Driver.

A back-up beeper with or without voice would NOT be an effective warning device for most small children. Adults may pay attention to the warning, but adults are much more aware of their surroundings, and would probably avoid the vehicle in the first place. Children sometimes don't pay attention to anything besides what they are focused on. ATWT's "voice" device would have no significant advantage over any other "sound" warning product. Hey, maybe they should add a strobe light too!?

Since the Driver can be found liable/responsible for a back-up accident. It would be in the Driver's best interest to observe what is going on behind their vehicle with a Back-Up Camera. Not depend on the pedestrian to have enough sense to get out of the way! A Back-Up CAMERA also has many other benefits such as parking, changing lanes, full perimeter views, and even personal security. Another available solution is a proximity sensor that uses sound with a sonar type of detection. It alerts the Driver by beeping quicker or slower depending on the vehicle's distance from an object.

Back-Up Cameras are already being offered on many cars and trucks as a factory option. Most commercial bus and vehicle Drivers have Back-Up Cameras installed for easier driving/parking, as well as safety. In my opinion, back-up cameras should be standard equiptment on ALL Commercial Vehicles. Especially since new technology has made them relatively inexpensive.

The Market for back-up warning devices, and back-up cameras is already dominated by many Big Players. ATWT has very little profit potential in this area, if any at all.

The Back-Up Camera is truly the BEST solution. Much better than some stupid beeper, buzzer, bell, voice warning, or whatever else tries to alert someone who isn't paying attention in the first place.

No offense, but I don't want anyone to be misled. The story you posted has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH ATWT OR IT'S PRODUCTS WHATSOEVER. ATWT has NO contracts, has NEVER pursued contracts, and is in NO position to pursue contracts with ANY OEM vehicle manufacturer. ATWT's entire business model is through AFTERMARKET distributors as an ADD-ON CUSTOM INSTALLATION ONLY.

If a Law WAS passed to force OEM vehicle manufactures to install such devices, ATWT would suffer as a result. Why? Because over time, ATWT would have a more limited amount of vehicles to install their products on. As New vehicles with factory installed units continued to replace older vehicles without them, year after year, ATWT would eventually have no reason to exist. And NO, ATWT would NOT be the supplier. The OEMs (original equiptment manufacturers) would engineer or buy their own designs.

Has ATWT sold any more than a few hundred units? If so, how many? a few thousand?

It will take thousands upon thousands of unit sales for ATWT to even begin to become profitable. Will the Market be satisfied with only a few thousand units sold, and just more promises? How many more expenses have been incurred in order to get distributorships and do Trade Shows?

Convincing existing businesses to add ATWT's product display, along with a few units to their existing inventory, and calling them Distributorships is just a first step. Hopefully the "distributorships" will not return the UNSOLD units for credit. The Market will demand PROOF OF HOW MANY UNITS ATWT HAS ACTUALLY SOLD. If the numbers are not good enough for the Market, the PPS will crash even further.

I wonder how much more SHARE DILUTION will occur before ATWT can become profitable?

Since the competition's "reminder" device has already been widely accepted by the industry, ATWT must prove that having an audible voice is worth the extra time consuming, and expensive custom installation. As opposed to the competition. Which has a universal one-size-fits-all simple installation that uses the vehicles existing wiring, and is easily transferable to another vehicle.

Good Luck to those who deserve it.

P.S. OT: have you taken a look at stock symbol CFRI yet? Maybe you should.
