Word of advice to all from 1 VERY inexperienced quick learning trader.... First, I came to the OTC to day trade and play the ups and downs, not to hold long... I brought with me about $32,500 to play with and try my "luck" learning while playing with fire... Some say I should learn with "paper" money (fake simulated money, same market), but that's just not how I learn... I learn with the real stakes, the real emotions, the real feeling of losses being losses anf gains being gains... Paper doesn't satisfy the emotion behind trading...
The number 1 lesson I learned fast is to "Take your emotions out of it"... You CANNOT trade on emotions or you WILL lose!!! Fear and gut feelings have to separate from your play here or you will not be here long...
Speaking of long (not a Johnson joke), if you notice, I came here to trade and play the highs and lows... However as soon as I found AMFE (I think FastMoney is to blame for that by the way via another penny chat room) I quickly learned of its potential and immediately set sights on AMFE for the LONG TERM... Because it is true, this company has a very high ceiling of potential, much of which is just getting started, and this stock largely operates like a blue chip stock in many ways despite still being OTC... We'll have highs and lows, right now I am in the red by a lot (I own just under 400,000 shares at an average of $0.0812/share)... But I'm not even sweating it...
So the main message I want to get relayed is, this forum is the #1 news source for new investors... No one pointed me to this forum, I found this place on my own... Type "AMFE News" into a Google search engine and this was one of the top, if not the top result... I have been here for a hair under a month, posted a few times but mostly under the radar reading EVERYTHING EVERYONE posts since I got here... I literally go through and read it ALL... I see the DD, I see the panic, I see the confidence, I see it all...
So that said, I want to relay 1 other thing... I get the nervousness when you're deep in the red and the desire to freak out, it's emotion, it's human nature... That is what you have to separate yourself from, either get out, or stay... But posting your nervousness here turns off other investors that in the long run benefit the company and us all... If you post your nerves here, and a new investor Googles "AMFE News" like I did and comes across this forum like I did and reads about your nerves, he or she will look elsewhere to invest... That is why you have to be careful what your post, emotionally and factually...
Now I am not saying to be fake either... One issue I take with the forum is there is almost too many optimistic posts (not a bad thing) and people are constantly saying "I believe this stock will do this here" and then sometimes it does, and sometimes it doesn't... But all the predictions without action to follow also hurts our image to future investors as well... One thing that made me nervous as a new investor here is all these people saying "it'll go up here" only for it to go down... I hurt my confidence...
Just food for thought!!! You all are in a good stock here, I as a noon have been doing a ton of learning and I am not even worried right now in the slightest...
Be genuine, but be smart with what you talk about because I guarantee you people are watching this forum, people not even registered here...
Don't be fake, be smart though!!!
