Katmai: This board is not perfect yet, but they are working on it. Instead of ignoring posters, I just don't read those whom I feel have nothing to add. I rarely use the ignore function.

Of course it means scrolling past many messages to get to the ones you want to read, but that really doesn't take that much time.

Two things about this board I really like: (a) personal attacks on other posters are not tolerated (b) posters are limited to 18/day, so someone like Trance, etc. can not spam the board all day the way he/it does on RB.

Many of us are busy people and do not have the time to scan four or five boards. This one, IMO is becoming the dominant Wave board. It has imported the best posters from the other boards, and lost or banned the worst ones.

Contrarians are tolerated here, even encouraged. That alone makes it worthwhile for me. I value dissenting opinions, even the ones I don't agree with. The DD board is less tolerant of dissent and negativity.

If you have a technical or other question, the collective amount of knowledge here is outstanding. One can actually learn something.

If an issue comes up that is perplexing--the heavy hitters on this board usually resolve them rather quickly.
