Yes, it most certainly will be good for one or the other.
If Cognate/LP/Toucan agree to any significant return of alleged improper profits this will ease NWBO's finances somewhat. Win for shareholders I would think.
If they settle for nothing but lawyers fees, then it is basically a win for management.
I will say this with 100% certainty, whatever the settlement it will be presented here as good news.
BTW, there are two other suits (in MD and DC) that are basically the same. One sounds ready to go along with the deal in Federal court, but the other submitted an amended complaint which sounds like they are not agreeing and that case goes on.
So the "they can not talk because of lawyers" excuse will stay intact.
