Textbook market:
"Buy on the rumor, sell on the news." I know lightening positions was a wise strategy leading up to rec votes. (I did, assuming would then correct as quite a while until implemented, and best strategy to let it correct, come back in a couple months, etc....)

Spicer/Sessions came up and a similar situation (let it settle, play out, and resolve, as one knows how emotional market will/would react).

Seriously......if people don't understand the market, they really shouldn't play.

None of any of this should be a surprise.

I'd call it "textbook".
