As good as Intel is, I wouldn't be surprised that it do not put all of their eggs into one basket, rightfully so, so there is a possible parallel effort going on...
That "more that one basket" theory has gone around for years. Please address a more current concern. It has merit, but not as much as 2 years ago now that there is a public announcement by Intel. Secondly, I don't see anyone else working with Intel in this space at IDF or any other conference where Wave has demonstrated its interoperability with HP and IBM computers.
I also realize that there is no way that the final product can be shipped out the door in 4 months.
Lets be realistic........give it 8-12 months...at best
Usually when an announcement is made that the product will be shipping in 4 months usually means the product is already built and is being supplied to PC builders to assemble. Wave and Intel probably put this together 2 years ago, when AMD announced the motherboard design. They then built prototypes long ago and tested them. The PR you read Thursday is a result of all you think is going to happen, that already did.
How is it possible that a company which does business with IBM...AND...AMD, HP, Maximus, Microsoft, Compaq, NEC, Finread, major banks, SSP, Trusted Logic, Cubic, etc etc, ends Q2/03 with no cash on hand?
Can you answer that question?
Easy, its called emerging market. Wave is only now being PUBLICLY recognized for its technology, that has been integrated, tested in trials, built, re-built, re-tested, re-tried numerous times to find its the ONLY technology that WORKS. Now, get ready for revenues soon.
are you ready to participate in funding a "12-24 month effort"
Yes, because the history of the market has shown that stock prices are priced in ahead of time. If that were not true, wavx would be tradign at $0.82 cents right now.
So, my advice to you is to go kite surf
I kitesurfed at Montrose Beach in Chicago yesterday and had a BLAST for 5 hours while you probably worked and sat at your desk. Thanks for your concern.
