Some dudes need to be taken out that way, that is my default reaction to that video is that I would not wish to be sitting next to a guy whose natural manner is to fight 3 cops, he does not exude a generosity of personality and may not be socialized enough to be fit to share an adjacent seat.
I was sitting next to a big oaf of a guy who made sure I knew he owned the left arm rest (I had an aisle seat). his feet also claimed some of my area, and his body language suggested that he may try for more aggressive forays into my territory as the flight progressed.
I was seconds away from doing the airline "rage thing", but knew I would just be messing up my vacation. I was traveling alone meeting up with family and friends on 6 hour trip to L.A.
The plane was totally packed so I could not change seats by myself. I spoke with the stewardess and told her it would be better for all if she could somehow change my seat as I wanted to appeal to prospect of a plane going back to base during the trip. Luckily she was able to find some seat for me to change.
At end of flight just before debarking I saw the captain standing in place offering the gratuitous good byes. I told him my plight, and asked him if I did right, just then the selfish "ogre" walked by, and the captain without missing a beat said if he knew somehow about his manner, he would of thrown his ass off the plane. The sincerity in his response gave me an enhanced confidence in the ultimate wisdom of mankind.
