My friend dropped outof college, and created some Mac apps while unemployed after the dot com crash..

Previous to that he bought AAPL when Jobs came back. And forgot about it.

The apps give him good income, as he is much more nimble than much larger corporate competitors.

I taught him the evil of the Fed and Austrian School economics. He combined that with his tech knowledge and bought Bit Coin early.

He is a stickler for a clean direct user interface.

the old website turned him off immediately, as it probably turned off many wealthy techies.

He earned his way through smarts and hard work, and some luck that comes with that.
