All AMD has to do is make claims that they will gain market share and have the superior product, and the analysts are willing to believe them.
I noticed that today what AMD said was that they hoped to reach 40% of global MS by 2009. But in fairness, they now have a track record and their claims have to be given reasonable credibility until proven otherwise, and the opposite is true for Intel. To me the handwriting is on the wall and the AMD optimism is no longer justified but so far, nobody is paying me to write things despite what the droids say on SI.
