I think you are attempting to make something from nothing. To understand his twitter posts you need to understand him first.

John uses cannabis,
John buys his cannabis from these LPs,
John has a right to comment upon the quality/availability of said product,
John is entitled to speak his opinion on these products (good or bad)


This was not a "stab" at other LPs as you have put it.

I will kindly invite you to revisit his twitter feed. You will see that just a few hours after he mentioned that they had no products available he submitted a new tweet congratulating them for adding new products/becoming available.

He is a genuine guy, a real cannabis user and enthusiast. If you went to the store for a case of beer and they had NONE, you would be entitled to be disgruntled too.

Go and look at how he reacted to them re-uping their store with new strains.
