Iam not a lawyer as well but my understanding is that they are not opposed to SFOR changing/amending their complaints, and at the same time they ...centrify.. are got giving in their rights to complain or file for the case to be dismissed. They also say their original defence ....that they are not infringing still stands.
The facts however,.. they agree to using Multifactor authentication and they dont have a patent on that, so where is the truth? Sfor has given them another pounding, 4 more claims of infringing on the parts of the patent and they still apply the same defence mentioned above, which does not seem to hold water ,.. as they agree to using MFA. ..My other opinion,... for them to raise their rights to complaing/file for dismissal is a posture that they want to use as leverage on the settlement amount...I have had a dog that lived to 18 and when he died he had no teeth, but you should have heard him growl to scare off the younger dogs....they have no more ammo!!
