If I recall correctly FFMGF owns one mine that has a silver deposit on it. Does anybody know if they have more than one? I read a fascinating article on silver. Volkswagon just found another use for it and they are putting silver in their windshields now. http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-01-27/why-silver-today
According to the article, silver is being used in the windshields for defrosting and de-icing, eliminating glare and reducing temperatures inside the car by 15 degrees during summer.
Nice article on the great depression. History is our greatest teacher.
There cant be a 20% tax on Mexican imports. What about gold and silver that are imported. We need that silver for industry.
I guess Mexico has been eating our lunch in trade. I believe we don't have manufacturing because of many reasons. Mexico doesn't have an EPA breathing down companies necks. Mexico has a lot fewer regulations. Not sure about taxes in Mexico but I will guess they are lower. As I mentioned in the last post, Mexico has zero tariff agreements with 44 nations. The U.S. only 20. If a company ships from a Mexican port it arrives in one of those 44 countries tariff free. It makes their product more competitive. Also if a part needed for assembly arrives from one of those 44 nations the part is cheaper with no tariff. If Trump wants to bring back manufacturing he can start with what I mentioned.
