Incorrect. John Hopkins licensed their solar patent to Genesis Electronics. Genesis Electronics made a solar charger using this technology. I know, I bought one. A simple search will show you plenty of information on it. You might bot believe Genesis Electronics but do you think JHU would lie? I don't think so. See below.
