What you say may be a good idea, but I recall back when gold was trading higher in the first half of 2016, the trading volumes for FFMGF were much higher and the share price made larger moves. Of course at that time gold was trading over $1350 USD too.

I was reading an article yesterday that talked about how the gold price has lagged the GDX and GDXJ as of late by about $50/oz., maybe FFMGF is just lagging because the gold price hasn't moved proportionally yet? Just a guess on my part, but I don't see money moving back into the mining shares in a big way until we break resistance levels with a higher gold price. I totally agree with you that we need to see much higher volume with this stock.
