AMGN +4%/AH on patent win blocking SNY/REGN’s Praluent from US market until 2029:

U.S. District Judge Sue Robinson in Delaware ordered Sanofi and Regeneron to halt Praluent sales for 12 years because the drug infringes patents on Amgen’s Repatha medication.

…The sales ban takes effect in 30 days to give Sanofi time to ask an appeals court to lift the order or to “encourage the parties to reach an appropriate business resolution,” the judge said in a seven-page order. Otherwise, the patents expire in 2029….

REGN was halted before the news hit the wire and did not resume trading, as far as I know.
