This is why ANAX said Saphire and LiquidMetal is the true "COUPLE"

Too bad. Sapphire (its own technical problem) dragged down Liquidmetal.

Sapphire while hard but it is too brittle. This could have been protected by the Riquidmetal bumper frame.

Killer of all, Sapphire distort light (too much) that it drained the battery. At the time, OLED (lack of back lit) was not available.
