The problem on the CHDT board is twofold.

1) duffys repetitively posts about a single negative issue. Enough already. We get it. The CEO taking a vacation bothers you. Do you have to keep posting about it? It really serves no purpose.

2) The moderator is a shareholder, and is certainly biased toward preferring a positive board. They tend to think that negative posts are a violation of the TOS, which, of course they are not.

In the month I have been viewing the board, there have been no serious flame wars and only a few skirmishes. The board itself is not really a problem, compared to others I have seen, and many of these issues can be solved "on board", without running to Matt. IMO, the moderator should be reminded of the stricter sense of the TOS, as I have done, and then left to their own devices. Personal attacks is a larger problem than duffys having his nose tweaked from time to time.
