1) His loss was the expected outcome. The state has lost billions over his bigotry and even traditionally republican backers wanted this guy out. This is well known.

2) Every district is controlled by republicans. So how, exactly, would a democrat even be able to steal it in the first place?

3) Voter fraud is a myth. One that gets harder and harder to believe when you cry "stolen" everytime you lose an election. At some point this becomes the boy who cried wolf syndrome.

If our sorry legislature goes through with this scheme, it may finally be the overreach that does them in.....MAYBE. They have done so much that is genuinely reprehensible over the past ten years, but thanks to the fact that they took control just in time to benefit from the 2010 census, and were then able to "creatively" gerrymander districts, they have been able to get away with one insane act after another at no political cost to them at all.

Did you know, for example, that in NC it is no longer acceptable for coastal communities to use projections of future tide levels in planning for development? Historical data only may be used. Makes perfect sense in a world with melting glaciers and ice caps, right? Everyone knows about HB2. But did you know that a bill was introduced (and mercifully, eventually axed) that would have made "christianity" the "official religion" of NC? I have lived in NC all my life, but only recently has the legislative building become a lunatic asylum.

If these clowns are able to do something like this, and still suffer no consequences, I guess the state of NC is lost forever. But I absolutely believe they will be willing to try to pull this off. They have no shame - none at all.
