Dan and Carol didn't pay off the right peeps. The ending was the most disturbing IMHO. That freaking lawyer that worked for the Quebec Securities Commish and then went into private practise. What's up with him & the investigator that was fired and couldn't talk to anyone? Very nice that CRA wants $9 mil in taxes. Is that an arbitrary assessment or did Ryan file his returns, declare the income & simply not pay? That isn't very clear.
